If you are taking Amoxicillin/Clavulanate Potassium you may experience one or more of the following reactions ranging from mild to life-threatening. Most often, however, reactions are: diarrhea, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, candidiasis, rashes. Rarely are: pseudomembranous colitis, hepatitis, cholestatic jaundice, crystalluria, erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, reversible leucopenia, thrombocytopenia, haemolytic anemia, CNS disturbances.
Cautions and Warnings
Renal or hepatic impairment. Ensure adequate hydration especially with parenteral therapy or high doses. Avoid if pregnant.
Drug Interactions
Amoxicillin/Clavulanate Potassium are hypersensitive to penicillins, possible cross sensitivity with other betalactams. History of penicillin associated cholestatic jaundice/hepatic dysfunction.
